  • This song, I mean, so scrumptious!

    I really dig this song. It takes you to the edge of a crescendo. However, it never quite gets there. It’s like you’re sitting on the edge of your seat all the way through. So brilliant, enjoy!

  • New addition to my little pond

    Saw this little one standing in the middle of my neighborhood road yesterday. Was worried it would get run over so I put it in my little pond to see if it would like hanging out there for a while. It seems like it’s happy 😊😊😊 my fish seem okay with it too. If it starts eating them I’ll take it down the road to another wetland area it can be happy in. Seems to be called a painted turtle and is the state turtle here in Michigan:

    I have two beautiful kitties, one who’s pictured below, and my other who you’ll see soon enough. They are both quite the characters! In addition, I try to help the feral cats around my neighborhood when I can, so I occasionally have a chance to snap some pics of them too.     Why use certcheck?

    certcheck is a simple script that uses the tools already available on a system to generate a report that can be used to track the expiration date of critical website certificates. This will ensure a level of visibility required to maintain certificate renewals in a timely fashion.

    certcheck requires Curl, Perl, and the DateTime module.

    Recommended configuration

    Run certcheck on a Linux host that has the required tools. Recommend running the report daily using cron and emailing to the webmaster, or using a log aggregator like elastic stack to monitor and send alerts if the expiration date is closing in.

    For the last 8 years I’ve been cultivating and promoting the growth of a pretty little perennial called milkweed. I’ve been doing it to attract one of the most beautiful things in the world. Monarchs. Last year was not a good year. But this year, I’m seeing some action now. Check this pic out, there’s more hanging out where this one is. Looking like we might be seeing some success this year!
